Writing

-I am working on the second draft of my fantasy novel “Resonant.” I am learning so much in the process.

-I’m writing flash fiction and short stories and entering contests to get feedback and strengthen my craft.

-I am beta reading stories by other writers in my community, and enjoying feeling connected to other writers and thinking critically about writing.

Music

-I am continuing to teach voice and piano lessons to both children and adults here in NYC and on Zoom. I have a wonderful studio of students at the moment. My favorite thing to teach is audition preparation!

-I’ve been singing a lot myself and have had some recent breakthroughs from very small technical adjustments. After thirty-two years of study, it still amazes me how much there is to learn. It is an endless practice.

Family and Friends

-I am spending lots of time with my husband and son doing creative projects, cooking and just being together. I am enjoying the lovely community of friends I have here in New York.

Library

I have dicovered my favorite place in New York City and it is the New York Society Library. I am there all the time either writing, attending an event or bringing my little son to story time there.
